Merchants not selling, weird AI

Hi everyone, this isn't directly related to any LL mods but since y'all seem like a helpful lot, I'm hoping someone can help a girl out so I don't have to trash this save.

So I'm currently around 100 hours into my current playthrough and I just noticed that no merchants will sell to me. As in, there is literally no buy/sell dialogue option, I can ask them for training (when applicable) or chat about random stuff but no selling dialogue, even when they're in their shops.

Now this may have been happening for longer than I'm aware of as my current playthrough is mostly centered on LotD and im using the sell crate to offload unwanted stuff so I haven't actually visited a merchant for a while. As far as I'm aware the only mod thats altering NPC AI is IC - AiO, but I've had that from the start and it's worked fine. Some NPCs also seem to be doing some wierd behavior but I can't really pin it down, its little things like bolting indoors for no reason, or not being in marketplaces when they should be. I haven't made any huge changes to my modlist in the few days since this has started happening, mostly updates to TDM, changed some trees, nothing that I would think would affect NPC AI.

Any ideas?

Oh, I'm running AE if thats relevant, I also have Skyrim Reputation changing NPC AI but again, I've had it from the start without issue.

I loaded Belethor up in SSEdit (although I'm not very well versed in it) and he has his MerchantFaction set to -1. I'm guessing this is why he (and other merchants) won't sell to me. But I have no idea what would do this. I started a new game with the same modlist and the problem isn't happening but I kinda just want to continue with my old save, I rarely get that far and I want to finish the MQ for a change.

Edit: I've tried Resaver and deleting the mods that would affect AI (like Immersive Citizens, More to Say and Skyrim Reputation) but the problem is still there.

I had that happen to me on SE and it turned out to be a bugged save.

I use "Goonie" the Summonable Merchant. What happened was one of the transactions must have glitched. I did not notice, and after the transaction I saved the game and moved on.  It was several saves later I found I had exactly the same problem as you.

I solved it by working back through saves until I found one where the sellers were selling OK, and then worked forward to find the bugged save which turned out to be that "Goonie" transaction. Sadly I had to ditch the remaining saves beyond that point, because I could not make them work.

Perhaps you'll find a different solution?  Good luck.
