korodic Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 While trying to find mods to make beast races slightly more ... beasty ... without radically changing their vanilla design for compatibility, I came across this mod: Beast Feet - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - VectorPlexus I actually was trying to do the same exact thing at the time I found it. It has CBBE support, which is great as I also use CBBE, but the male versions are only for SAM. I can't seem to get my edits to work in-game for HIMBO. Can anyone look at this mesh and tell me what I'm doing wrong? I'm new to mesh editing, not sure if this is just out of my league or something small. MaleFeetBeast_0.nif MaleFeetBeast_1.nif EDIT: Adding screenshots to show what the above meshes look like in-game. Issue only occurs after I edit the Claws mesh in Outfit Studio and split up the mesh into individual claws to edit their position to the HIMBO feet. I did re-merge them, but that result is still no bueno. Here is how they look in-game: Here is how they look in the Outfit Studio and nifskope:
korodic Posted March 23, 2022 Author Posted March 23, 2022 I now know what caused it, but don't fully understand why. So the mesh in the mod I linked can be moved, and it matches the mesh in game to what's in the editor. I separated vertices to modify each toenail and move them into position. It was the action of joining them back together (merging back into 1 mesh) that seemed to cause the issue in my original post. I do it all in outfit studio, 'cause I'm a noob.
