Replacing Oblivion, One texture at a time...

I'm sure I'm not the only one here, who doesn't only play for the lovers mods...

 

And I'm also sure I'm not the only one who tries to replace every single original texture with a higher Resolution version : )

 

I have (hi res) Texture Replacers for just about every single thing in Oblivion. The only things I'm really missing it seems, are replacers for the following types of things:

 

- Bowls and Ladles

 

- Brooms, Hammers (repair hammers and such), Anvils and other smithy tools

 

- Ceramic items (vases, urns) and planters

 

- Tan items (cups, urns and jugs), covers pots and stone mugs

 

- clay pottery

 

 

I know this whole post must sound seriously anal/obsessive ... but it's what I enjoy. Going from my modded out game to Skyrim wont be such a huge jump since my game looks gorgeous as all hell, and I'm happy about it -- I can come back and still enjoy Oblivion then : )

 

 

tl;dr - So anyway! Anyone know anywhere to get some of these hi res textures I'm missing? xD

If they don't have it they may have a link to someone who does.

well as im just up for some landscape replacement , which u already have , i guess , cant say much bout vases etc

 

i´d try COBL , dunno bout hires but it adds more different objects -

also custom houses have nice objects - my fav is the hentai lovely house, u could extract textures from there - just search nexus for houses with hi res items , hope that can help u

 

EDIT : lol im only up for new landscape´s is a lie - chicks and clothes foremost

Thanks for the link - lots of interesting mods and descriptions on the page. I mostly have everything of value listed there; the only thing I could really use is the "better tools" replacement... which is better than nothing

Well as ME3 suggested just browse the nexus house mods and rip out any meshes\textures that look to be upgrades.

 

COBL really does have A LOT of upgraded objects however I don't recommend it as it never played nice with the other mods I had. Again you could get it and rip out the mesh\textures that you liked.
