Sathe Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Whenever an npc that is topless (no armor in chest slot) or a pregnant mesh is on screen, the game severely drops in frames. When the PC is topless it does not cause lag, however pregnant meshes still do. This bug does not happen with males which leads me to believe it has something to do with BBB or the skeleton? On an unrelated note I am having a few other minor issues. One of which is random CTDs. I expect this but its happening annoyingly frequently so I thought I would post my load order and see if that's it. Another minor bug is Break Armor not putting my armor back on whenever it checks to update the meshes. This is not too big a deal but it's rather annoying if it does it in combat and doesn't let me put my bottoms back on. Oh, also on an extra unrelated note I am unable to find a plugin I used to have called void estrus trap. If you could point me to this or another good trap mod (besides furogenerator trap, I have that) I would appreciate it.
cobme Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 The lagging and topless women are caused by Nudeshy, which is probably conflicting with another mod. The mod that's preventing you from equipping your greaves during combat is - nudeshyceadb.esp it stands for - "can't equip armor during battle".
gregathit Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 I recommend folks run BOSS and then hand sort their lovers files so they don't have stuff like this going on: ++ Replacer - Blackwood (mergeable).esp ++ JUSTICE HGEC Steelarmor Replacer.esp ++ Replacer - Dwarven (mergeable).esp You have all of these up above your official dlc and the unofficial patches to them. That is BAD. What happens if any of the official dlc or unofficial patches contains a mesh file? It then overwrites your replacer. I recommend you drop these three down to just above FlyingCameraMod.esp [Version 1.3]. Remember you will have to rebuild your bashed patch with this and some of the changes below. Don't forget to disable your lovers\tamago esm\esp files before rebuilding your bashed patch (with the exception of the SexualOrgans plugins of course). Other recommendations: 1. The latest version of LPK (rev96v4 found in the Animated Penis Base Pack) contains integration with Gerra6's break armor plugin so I don't think you need LoversBreakArmor.esp - unless this is something I am not aware of anyway. Additionally, if this contains ANY scripts then having it merged into your bashed patch can break the plugin. Since you are having problems with broken armors I suggest you look into this. 2. Oss133FrameRateOptimizer.esp <--- I have never heard of this plugin and I can't say as I recommend you use it. Streamline already as this ability. Additionally OSR (oblivion stutter remover) makes a better companion to Streamline than anything else I have tried. 3. Be careful of this plugin UChainBeast.esp - it may or may not play well with lovers. 4. I am not familiar with this plugin: OSM-All Genders.esp 5. As to your FPS drop - couple of things: A. Check your texture file sizes for nude bodies. If they are 15+ megs or more then you may not have the computer horsepower to run them. B. Hit your console and see what if any errors are showing when your FPS lags out.

Currently rev96v4 and Breakamor.esp will break armor\clothes during sex just fine. If that was all LoversBreakArmor did then YES ditch it. I forget what BU_Disabler was for. Was it so you could use BreakArmor with BreakUndies? Again, if that was its purpose then yes, ditch it.

Note: This plugin is still a bit crude. I'l probably update it with something a bit more elegant in the future. BU_Disabler.esp This disables break undies scripts. This allows you to use armor from esps that have BreakUndies.esm as a master. Note, BreakArmor should be loaded after BU_Disabler. I'll ditch them too, then. Thank you for your time, as always.

I don't have any of those so I haven't used it or know how it works. as for LoversBreakArmor, I have no idea, it said lovers so I downloaded it... silly me.. Oss133FrameRateOptimizer.esp is a plugin that adjusts your video settings in real time so it can get as much detail as possible and still maintain a FPS number you set, EG if your in an open plain with nothing going on it will increase grassdistance, treedistance, ect until your fps drops to the preset amount. when your in a busy city it will lower your distances until you get your FPS back to that number. It creates an annoying flickering effect and I have noticed the grass distance change, but im not sure if it actually helps FPS or not. OSM-All Genders.esp is Oblivion Sexualised monsters. I'm sure its going to cause problems so I was planning on dropping it anyway. as for the large textures, that was my original assumption too but seeing as topless scamps (from OSM) lag too I don't think its a texture issue because they are rather low quality textures. You said I had to disable lovers and tamago plugins before I patch.. I haven't ever done this.. what happens if I don't? I will make the adjustments to my load order and give BOSS a shot I guess :/ I just find it does not recognize a lot of my plugins and moves them to the bottom...
gregathit Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 The BOSS note wasn't for really for you but others. At this point it is a waste for you to run BOSS. Just make the couple of adjustments and you should be fine. On the loversbreakarmor - yea, installing stuff when you don't know what it is or does, isn't a great idea as I am sure you are now aware, if you weren't before. Sexualised monsters shouldn't hurt anything at all. Leaving it or removing it is your call. The topless scamps could be a corrupted mesh or missing texture or all sorts of things. Again, try hitting your console key to see if any errors are being spammed there. If you don't disable your lovers\tamago club plugins prior to building your bashed patch you will end up breaking many of the scripts. All sorts of crazy stuff starts happening......and all of them are crazy bad. On the OSS deal, if you didn't disable the same feature in streamline then the two are working against one another. As to "capping" your FPS - I've found that causes more problems than it solves. Because Oblivion is such an old game and so poorly optimized you end up spending precious resources "messing" with stuff instead of just letting the game go. I recommend sticking with streamline by itself or adding OSR and letting those two handle things. The only good reason that I can see to have that OSS deal is if you are big into taking screenshots with pose mods with lots of detail in background that may be far away. That is just my experience with it. Your mileage may vary.
