Guest Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 I just recently installed Lovers and I have to say, It is A LOT more unstable than before. I'm getting crashes in every which direction. Here are some Examples: 1. crashes when characters are having an orgasm 2. crashes when sex ends 3. crashes when rape ends 4. crashes when getting raped/having sex with other actors doing other things (sometimes) 5. crashes in the mystic emporium after installing the stocks mod, I can't even try the mod out 6. Crashes at Lord Drad's Estate, in the mansion, and in the slave quarters after installing Victim. 7. Crashes when interrupting and stopping two actors from having sex. 8. game randomly crashes when trying to load saves 9. I even get crashes on the main menu sometimes! Those are only a few that I've memorized. I really want to play lovers, but this is getting ridiculous. I would like to post my load order, but I'm not sure how, and I'm not sure how to make spoilers either, how do I do those things? Also, I have 3 more questions: 1. I'm having trouble getting Extender to work, when having sex, I do the kissing and what not but no matter how many times I press "e" (I set it to manual) nothing happens 2. Also, how do I get rapestruggle to work? I can get raped by enemies who were fighting me, but I never see the clothes ripping or struggling that the mod adds. 3. The gangbang feature of RaperS roleplay doesn't seem to work. Any tips on how to get it to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
gregathit Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Halo are you using Wrye or OBMM - if OBMM then to get the load order just hit import\export and then view load order then copy it and post it here. As to your other questions: 1. Your saying you changed the default key from "f" to "e"? 2. There are no clothes ripping (Man that would be awesome but you would have to create custom nif's for EVERY set of clothes\armor in vanilla & the modding scene). The struggling however should be there as they\you are disrobed. Edit: to do spoilers: {spoiler} paste picture or load order or whatever here {/spoiler} Now just replace the {} with [] and you have a spoiler 2nd EDIT: Dee383 is exactly correct - rape struggle requires a particular version of raperS (link to the one it works with is on the 1st post of the rape struggle download page).

No, I did not change any keys. My jump key was "e" and then I switched sex progression from automatic to manually with "e" but pressing "e" does not advance sex past foreplay 2. I crash after entering the Silver Home on the Water I crash in Cadlew Chapel sometimes I crash when entering Lord Drad's Estate and the Slave Quarters I crash in the Slave Dungeon But I don't crash at the Arena, even though the Arena is so heavily moddified thanks to WAC, so wtf? I also crash and the Mystic Emporium which is modded a bit for the stock WIP mod so wtf?

gregathit Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 YES!!!!!! IMMEDIATELY!!!!! Autosave is a major culprit for CTD's and save game corruption. Quicksave while not causing many CTD's is rather notorious for save game corruption. Either go the manual save game route or get Streamline (which I use and like) or CASM (some others seem to prefer this) as both have autosaves that actually work!
Old Book Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 If you don't mind Wryebash, try building a bashed patch to merge as many of those mods as you can, and to ghost anything you're not actually using. I haven't counted, but it looks like you might be up close to or over the 255 mod range, and Oblivion often goes crashy around there. You might also go through and eliminate anything you're not really getting much use out of. For example, Enhanced Daedric Invasion can cause some unexpected crashes with anything else, as it chews up a lot of processing.

Depending on your OS if Win7 64bit then: 1. 4GB patch applied to oblivion.exe 2. OSR (oblivion stutter remover) 3. Streamline 3.1 4. Game Companion If you only have a 32bit system then get items 2, 3, 4. I do also recommend Wrye Bash for its bashed patch of course

For example, I only use one of the crowded cities esps, not both. Sorry if it seems differently. Also, thanks for the prior help, my game crashes less frequently than before. But I'm noticing something really weird, I'm playing a female character right now, and when I try to rape someone, instead of the usual me raping them, my character is using the submissive position while the target is standing next to me. The target can move around and perform actions, but I'm stuck getting raped by air with a futa cock even though I was supposed to be raping someone. Any diagnosis on this?
gregathit Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 halo, did you make a clean save after redoing your load order (disabling all your lovers files)? Also you can try "in game" to force fix the animations through the pk options menu. Also, are those other files that I was questioning in your oblivion folder? If so move them outside the oblivion folder and you will further help your stability. Don't ask me how or why but oblivion will "see" those esm's\esp's\bsa's even though it won't use them.

I believe that I installed it, but it doesn't seem to be working as my game is experiencing incredibly low framerates, I made a thread in the other technical support section if you want to respond there.
gregathit Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 The NT core 4GB patch is really easy to install, just double click on it and browse to your oblivion.exe (remember to have made a backup of it first). If the patch worked it will say so and that's that. As to low frame rates and such, hard to say as I don't know what all you are running. My advice is to grab the tools I listed on post 18 as they will help. Also try ctl+alt+del out of your game and see what your memory and cpu is doing. Perhaps there are process running that are slowing things down. Installing the tools should get you back into the 20 FPS range. What type of CPU and GPU do you have?
