Erena Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 So, while re-downloading the Nexus Mod Manager (for regular mods, I swear), it gave me a list of games it was scanning for, which apparently had modding communities on the Nexus. Had a chuckle over "World of Tanks," then I saw something interesting: Dark Souls. Now, seeing that game up there alongside the likes of Fallout New Vegas and Oblivion (both of which I crashed multiple times with mods from this site), I was thinking... are there adult mods for Dark Souls? I mean, considering the game is all about getting "raped" in the "the enemies are overpowered and use cheap tactics on your ass" sense, so why not mod it up to be in the more fun sense like Oblivion? Of course, I didn't draw this connection immediately (I don't have Dark Souls), but this really awesome girl on Hentai Foundry (http://www.hentai-foundry.com/user/Minyerva/faves/pictures) is always requesting such fun pictures, many of which have to do with Dark Souls, so apparently the thought is there.

Better framerates, textures, performance, etc. Which is understandable given that the pc port was far from good. That said, I don't see the need or desire for adult mods in that game. Dark Souls is a game more about fighting and difficulty than inmersion.

Generally in a game my kill count is through the roof, in this game it is my characters death that is astronomical. Adds a whole different light to things.

Though I have to admit, most of the deaths are my fault. I played DS right after skyrim and in vanilla Skyrim I used to sprint through the dungeons killing everything in sight. Doing this in DS is practically suicide xD!

Yeah anyway.. I'd exchange getting turned into beef jerky for getting literally raped. But I doubt it'll ever happen as there are no mod tools for it as far as I know.

Cezul Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Those most in the way of sexy mods that Dark souls has are ones that turn the female PC ( at least when she's not Undead ) nude as well as makes the Titty-Monster Convenant leader's bra dress thing see through for some glorious nip action. And to be honest, as is said, the game's combat and everything is excellent enough for there to really be no need for eye candy like that. And if you haven't played Dark Souls, definitely give it a go, I'd go as far as to say it's the challenge of this generation. ( Even though i say it's really not that hard once you know what you're doing )
gregathit Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 For me it is mainly the bosses that put the smack down. Each one being ridiculously overpowered and unique in their attacks. You end up dying a few times (sometime more than a few) to figure out the way to kill them. Unless you get really lucky that is. I remember dying about 20 times to that F'ing Hydra until I found a spot that I could shoot arrows from with virtual impunity. At that point I just wore him down and killed him. I think the one that kicked my ass the most was the very first boss you face in the game. I had no clue about how or what I was doing and was suddenly thrust into combat with a boss?????? Yea......I must have died 30+ times trying to figure out how and when to roll. DS is not a hack and slash game. If you try to hit a boss more than once at a time, the result is generally a horrific wound, if not instant death. It took me a while to figure out that I had to time my hit and move\roll away, then rinse and repeat. What can I say, I am a slow learner at times.

The Quelaag retexture is a pretty good one, and there are a few to change the Anor londo painting. You generally don't want to cap your frame rate at 60fps with the fix, as it makes jumping difficult and will disconnect you from online play for falling outside of the permitted frame rate. There's a very good mod out that makes it much easier to connect to people on your friends list. You can invade with the red eye orb and be almost certain that you get your friend every time (assuming that they're human, and not on cooldown).

Yes, I COULD do a no leveling run, but it takes away from the awesome leveling system and makes it impossible to use cool weapons/armor

I am a very open minded skull, but I draw the line with Dark Souls. If you want to get raped by those weird frog things be my guest, but those god damned creatures almost gave me nightmares as it is.
