ScrunchesMunches Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 I am currently using the elven armor from this fantastic mod: https://www.sunkeumjeong.com/post/the-amazing-world-of-bikini-armors-remastered-6-0 and I have also installed this mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/35382?tab=description) to make the textures of the elven bikini armor the dark thalmor color seen on the modpage. However I recently came across this mod: (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/35390?tab=files) which features a "Gilded Thalmor Armor" texture. The texture is near identical to the one I am currently using except it has a golden trim, as seen in the pictures on the mod page. Could someone please make an edit that applies the "Gilded Thalmor Armor" texture to elven armor. I have tried my best to do it myself but I am far too inexperienced with the tools and just frustrate myself each time. Thank you!
TheWilloughbian Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 I know this thread is a little older, but here. Let's get you some tools. What you are wanting to do is pretty easy once you learn how to do it. 7-Zip For packing and unpacking zip files. There are other programs that do the same thing. This is just the one I like. Releases · niftools/nifskope · GitHub There are lots of tutorials out there to help learn about Nifskope. Paint.NET - Download (getpaint.net) I like GIMP a little better but Paint.net can handle some compression types that GIMP cannot. GIMP - Downloads and Google Code Archive - Long-term storage for Google Code Project Hosting. at least I think that's the right link for the DDS plugin. someone please correct me if I am wrong. Bethesda Archive Extractor (BSA and BA2) at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) But what you wish to do is probably as simple as copying then renaming a texture and dropping it in the right folder. A lot of how you go about it is going to depend on what Mod Manager you use. Happy modding.
