Altwen Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 I have been gong at this outfit for a while now, finally got it all perfect buuut... The vagina is out of place while my outfit is on, any idea how to fix this?
Altwen Posted February 22, 2022 Author Posted February 22, 2022 Welp, I feel dumb... After trying a few more things I finally unset reference, loaded "Sliders: CBBE 3BA reference" conformed all, deleted and reset reference, then saved and it worked ? I'm not sure -why- I had to do it.. again for probably the 300th time, I swear OS makes no sense to me sometimes.. I guess, when in doubt, just conform all.
Altwen Posted February 22, 2022 Author Posted February 22, 2022 Ok so the vagina is fixed but now there is inexplicably gaps on the neck and hands.. Holy shit this is annoying,.
Altwen Posted February 22, 2022 Author Posted February 22, 2022 I don't get it, I fix the neck gap, the vagina gaps, I fix the vagina, the neck gaps.........
Altwen Posted February 22, 2022 Author Posted February 22, 2022 I finally managed to get both the neck hands and vagina to gap at the same time! I give up for tonight, I've been trying everything I can think of and nothing works. I've already perfected the mesh, bone weights, deleted veticies, I really don't want to start all over. There has to be something dumb and easy I'm missing here, right?
Altwen Posted February 22, 2022 Author Posted February 22, 2022 Starting over from scratch, this time using a hybrid method of editing. Getting my main project(s) working correctly with slider data then editing the shapedata nifs independently outside of the project to avoid slider data getting screwed up. Hopefully it works ?
Altwen Posted February 22, 2022 Author Posted February 22, 2022 Turns out that doesn't work- at all. Restarted twice and the second time, despite doing everything clean, the top is now just not there and there's a neck gap to boot. What the actual fuck? You'd think the main thing this program is designed to do wouldn't be so covert and impossible to understand. My outfit was perfect aside from the vagina and anus not being attached to sliders and I was able to fix that but not without something else breaking in the process. Now I'm just ready to give up on it entirely.
Altwen Posted February 22, 2022 Author Posted February 22, 2022 I've done everything again for the 10th+ time, clean as clean can be, and everything is good except hand and ankle gaps. Is 3BA just fucked or what?
Altwen Posted February 22, 2022 Author Posted February 22, 2022 Ok so I loaded 3BA slider reference conformed all, reloaded 3ba reference, saved, hand and ankle gaps are gone but now there's a neck gap. Done with this.
Altwen Posted February 26, 2022 Author Posted February 26, 2022 Okay so, update. Somehow, for the life of me I don't understand how... The base bodyslide I was using had both ankle and wrist sliders set to 100% which was causing the constant mismatching seams. Every other bodyslide preset I have (which this was based on) has 100% at 0 weight and 0% at 100 weight (default) No idea how it got changed exactly to 100% in both sliders when I never would've touched those, but it did so now I'll have to re-slide everything and it should be good.
Acro748 Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 just to give you a tip The vagina gap (and anus gap) can be solved by doing as follows 1. open the outfit studio and load that outfit project 2. delete body meshes including vagina and anus ("3BA", "3BA_Vagina", "3BA_Anus") 3. save that project and close outfit studio 4. reopen the outfit studio and reload that outfit project 5. add CBBE 3BA body using load reference 6. save project and close outfit studio The wrist, ankle, and neck gaps can also be fixed in this way, but there are cases where not In this case, you can do it as follows 1. open the outfit studio and load that outfit project 2. Find a slider that's related to the gap Neck gap is "NeckSeam" Wrist gap is "WristSize" Ankle gap is "AnkleSize" 3. click the pencil button on the slider related to the gap and enter the tap key or click on the cogwheel 4. Set the default values to Low to 100, High to 0 5. save project and close outfit studio but... if the slider value is already stored in the preset Regardless of the default value, it is applied as the slider value of the preset
Altwen Posted March 14, 2022 Author Posted March 14, 2022 Ah, thanks very helpful stuff. At some point my gap sliders got set to 100 on the preset which is why I kept having issues. It's always the simplest things -.- I will definitely use that knowlege of the sliders though.
