Guest Posted February 17, 2022 Posted February 17, 2022 I am aware that the title sounds slightly kinky, but this is the name of a mod on this site by Leito86: I downloaded this mod earlier today and I had some 'teleportation' issues. After some investigation it looks like the mod was conflicting with Necrodog's V5 feet mod [edited by 'YourFalseHope'] After removing Necrodog's mod [reluctantly], I loaded the game in and Leito86's feet look great: I was looking to solve the knee clipping when sims were kneeling in animations. I haven't fully tested this mod yet, but it is definitely worth trying!

I haven't fully tested this mod yet, but it is definitely worth trying! Knee clipping is an issue either with preset, shape, or the animation itself. Animator can fix them by moving important bones that are used for this (called blabla_twist_bones, they are also there for arms and shoulders). However it can't be fixed on some poses (the meshes aren't weight painted properly for those) or the mesh will be too deformed. In others words, you can't expect everything to be perfect even if animations use IK chain target or anything. The game does not allows any collisions or skin weight so there will always be some sort of clipping (they are also there during vanilla animations). However, it's possible to make animations adjusting with a sim weight using the slots_bones, but it will not be perfect either because the game use IK target and not collisions.
