N.Gamma Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 Hello, I bought a 21:9 monitor and need some help with the configuration of Skyrim SE. Currently it looks like this: Spoiler At the bottom and at the right edge of the screen the screen does not close with the monitor. What I have done so far is to install the mod TruBy9 UltraWide - SkyrimSE and make a few settings in the skyrimprefs.ini. These are the settings I have made: bFull Screen=1 iSize H=1080 iSize W=2650 My actual monitor setting is 3440x1440 though! If I set these values, the Game screen is larger than the monitor. Sounds strange, but is so! Can someone please help me fix this poroblem, and would also tell me what else I should tune at 21:9?
Bluegunk Posted February 1, 2022 Posted February 1, 2022 Hi I use a 21:9 3440x1440 monitor and my Skyrim Prefs settings are: iSize H=1440 iSize W=3440 bBorderless=1 bFull Screen=1 I also use the Truby9 mod. So if your game picture is bigger than your monitor it could be: A different SkyrimPrefs.ini is overriding the one you think is the correct one or The problem may lay elsewhere. Is this an NVidia monitor? Have you DSR factor running? It might be worth checking those sorts of things. Good luck finding it!
N.Gamma Posted February 2, 2022 Author Posted February 2, 2022 I found out where my problem was! My monitor resolution was set to 125%. After I reset the resolution to 100% and in the SkyrimPref.ini iSize H=1440 iSize W=3440, have set, now the game image takes the gesammten monitor correctly!
