How to select second player character in Honey Select 2?

I think it gave me the option right in the beginning but now it always just has the option for 1st player (character) 

Is there something Im missing, or maybe a bug? the only thing i could  find that is that you have to advance in the story a bit (theres a story…?) but i already did a couple of days, added some girls, but i still cant select a second character?
