I think I've finally made it... but still need some appointments

Hi guys, I'm proud to say that I've modded Skyrim as far as my old computer can does (i7 6700k with Nvidia 970OC and 16gb ram).

 

I'm shocked how much we can mod SSE compared to Oldrim. The espf/esl system is great, I've never thought to be able to have so many mods. Here is my mod list and my loadorder.

 The only "broken" thing is the mismatch between sliders of SOS nude mesh and some immersive armors. I've found some patch for Oldrim, but not any one for SSE... Does anyone have a link ?

Your best bet would be to learn how to use Cathedral Asset Optimizer to convert the meshes from LE to SE.

still suitable for Skyrim, I daresay, for I run a similarly aged system.

Would you say SE runs better for you than LE, in terms of performance?

I am merely curious, since I am considering switching to SE, yet I am worried whether it would be detrimental to performance (my LE runs very smoothly).

Any reply would be much appreciated.

I had the same feelings there is a long time ago about SE and LE. I spend so much time to mod my Oldrim that I was affraid to jump over that bridge and to rebuilt it from the start. It was not simple, because there is so many different files for each version... It's not easy to find good ones. The biggest difficult are other here, because it's not always an evidence to know if it's LE or SE content ; and on the nexus, because some archives links are hard to find.

 

I've started to mod it one month ago... In fact, I bought AE on MS Store, thanks to Ads and low price... But I was fucked up with SKSE, so I find my way to get a 1.5.97 version of the game and to destroy it with mods... XD

I still have my Oldrim on this PC, here is my old mod list, and my old loadorder. But modlist was a fuckin' mess, my SSE one is obviously cleaner x)

About SexLab, it's faster and more stable with Utility Plus, and there is a lot of new functionalities, SKSE is really advanced for now on SSE. There is still some. I used to play with MiasLair, but switched it for PAHE and it's really cool on SSE. There is no deep quest like Bravil Underground, but the system works well.

 

And about other mods... Whao, the new dyndolod and dynamic lod, with SFO and Verdant, there is no point of comparaison at all. And the No Grass In Object system with Grass Cash Fix is really a good way to keep high FPS (55/50 at minus, maybe 45/40 without NGIO and Cache fix). I don't use ENB on SSE because the Vanilla looks fine on my screen. And mostly because I remember how much it was a pain to mod light system with ENB on Oldrim.

 

Finally, the only point really missing in SSE, is my old "personnal" version of Hidielle. Does anyone have a tutorial to bring it back on SSE ? I could convert a lot of my old followers if someone could give my ressources to learn how to convert UNP into CBBE... Or if someone could help, it could be great too !
