As a young teen, Aphrodite Thanos enjoyed idling on the warm sandy beaches of her home island of Elafonisi, a small island close to Crete. Now in her second year of university, Aphrodite's full-time career as a marine biologist along with her full class schedule leaves little time for inactivity. While not hitting the books or saving the dolphins, she keeps herself fit playing basketball or kickboxing at the gym or enjoying a vigorous ocean swim. When the sun sets, expect to find this young lady oil painting or practicing her scales on the piano.
