sophiextime Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 Hello. I have been a lonf time Skyrim SE mod enjoyer as some of you who know me will know. I have really loved modding and playing it and tried where i could to be active here. Before the Skyrim AE recent update i was running about 200-250 mods on my SSE, a complete mix of Nexus mods and LL mods. However since the update that broke my Skyrim i uninstalled all of it and pretty much gave up in temper. But i am hoping now some time has passed that i might once again be able to enjoy it. So If i would really like to be able to play my SSE again as i did before can i? Could i pretty much install it all again but somehow do soemthing or is there a mod that will let all of the mods o ised to use work, in a way allowing me to enjoy the SSE experience pre AE? I really dont care for any of the new features AE brought, i just want my heavily modded SSE back Can anyone help advise me with this please?
ttts1 Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 Did you try the downgrade patch? I use a backup SE file I created before AE launched, so I have not used the downgrade patch. I don't see complaints about it so I assume it would fix things for you?
sophiextime Posted January 12, 2022 Author Posted January 12, 2022 So i could install everything as usually, the SE game itself and every mod i ever used pre Anniversary. than simply add one pacth that downgrades the main game and everything will work fine as before, a pre anniversay modded playthru? And hope i not being lazy but where is this patch please?

I think this is the one: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/57618 That modder also has a tool to help download older versions of Skyrim SE for Steam users. The downgrade patch should be fine but if it doesn't work then maybe try that other file if you have Skyrim through Steam.
