nipple issue Double Nipple-in-Nipple Problem

How is the ugly double nipple overlay bug in this photo fixed?

First, all characters look correct in CAS, but in game, they revert to the ugly nipple-in-nipple error as shown above. It looks like a male nipple and areola superimposed on a female one.

I removed all CC including Wicked Whims, and all characters were Maxix bra top normal.

I removed all CC except Wicked Whims, and all characters had the ugly double nipple-in-nipple.

I replaced all CC and removed Wicked Whims and everything worked correctly; nipples showed correctly.

 

Any suggestions?

Try using alternative female body top instead of the WW default one, it comes with its own nipples texture that covers custom nipples because of the extremely high sort layer value.

I meant some another body top mesh that doesn't use its own nipple textures.

(By the way WW introduced a textureless version of its body recently on Patreon.)

But doesn't that only fix the problem for your current outfit? The moment you use WW to have your character completely undress it'll take off the non-default nude top and you're back to double nipples...

No, he meant to select another nude body top from the WW body selector. The sim won't take it off, because sims don't have a nude top to begin with. It's not a nude top underneath their everyday outfit, that's not a thing. The WW top is applied to the sim, not the outfit. They are two separate outfits/meshes, the clothed one (that if you removed would make your sim invisible, not nude), and the nude one. If you change the nude one correctly, from WW pie options, it should fix the issue.

You can find it by clicking on your sim, Wicked > Personalization > Anatomy & Clothing > Body Selector > Modify [Sim name]'s Body Parts. A menu should pop up. Of course, if you don't have any cc in your mods folder, you will only have WW and EA defaults available. You can find more around, like wild_guy's or Eve.

WW basically gives you an extra clothing slot that happen to be a nude mesh so we can have a nude state, but it's no different than clothing that is skintight/painted over the base mesh.

I knew there wasn't a nude top under the clothes, but I have a few nude tops in the shirts area on CAS, but whenever I tell my sims to get naked they go back to the default. If I understand correctly I can use Body Selector to set one of them as my new nude top?

I see your confusion, let me see if I can help you out (btw, glad it worked! Have fun selecting other bits, some tops and bottom work better with certain sliders settings~)

Nude tops in CAS are selectable as outfits. But then, WW has a string of code you can add to those tops you see in CAS that make them selectable from that Body Selector menu you just learned about. That bit of code is what allows you to see the top as "nude" when sims have sex. Otherwise, the CAS part is not recognized by WW as a nude part. This also means that you might be selecting a part in CAS, and then it looks different during sex! Well, yes! Because you selected it in CAS, not in WW. Only those you select by Body Selector show as nude.

 

So, to answer your question: Yes, you're correct! You can use WW's Body Selector to assign them as your new nude body top. By default, WW assigns a nude top included with the mod. It's up to you if that one doesn't fit your sim and you want to add more options to it. For example, Simindilgence's Simple gens comes in regular, puffy, inverted and one more nipple type I can't recall rn. It also has a no texture version available.
