Luckily it managed to resurrect the dead. Looks like skyrim itself is the issue so I would use steam to verify integrity of the game files. If you're admin you can also use this to add a registry edit that adds the ability to fix ownership issues in the right click menu. Can always try running that on the skyrim folder itself to see if it fixes any weird permissions. Takes quite awhile to complete though.

That being said I rarely log in now so unlikely to help you further here.

Just so you know - this type of crash (access violation error) could be encountered because of outdated dyndolod/texgen output. Just solved that mystery - the clue was the game sometimes crashed when leaving an interior cell. Crash reports told me nothing of value. So be sure to update your texgen and dyndolod output from time to time if installing new mods. Cheers.

I know it has been a while since the thread has been updated , but maybe someone can help me with my crash log. I have no idea how to solve the crash.
Would really appreciate it.

The two likely culprits that pop up are the windows kernel itself and skyrim. As above I would verify game files but I would also launch command prompt as admin and run

sfc /scannow

just to make sure windows system file corruption isn't the issue. That's about the best I can do with the time that I have to look at this.

Did both but nothing changed, still crashes when Iam trying to create a new character. Iam not sure if the Unofficial Skyrim patch is one culprit, becuase it hasnt been updated to 1170 but when I disable it I get a similar crash log

This was actually super helpful. The commentary regarding the address library interactions was spot on!

Turns out in my case it wasn't the address library that was somehow corrupted it was SexLab itself. I purged it from MO2 and manually deleted everything then downloaded a fresh copy. Similarly to you with Address Library, previously I had tried reinstalling a 'fresh' SexLab and I guess MO2 does something with it other than completely replace it?

I tend to keep a stash of my LL downloads so I have correct versions in case I get bored and uninstall Skyrim so I can have consistency with a save. Perhaps something went wrong with my Sexlab transferring from my NAS? Might have to keep a hash with it too next time!

In any case, cheers! Thanks a ton. have a good weekend, because I know I will. ?

Dood, How do you purge? I know its been two years - surely - I tried to update mine but I think I need to delete the storage. What is purging and how does one do it?

Oh wow. I barely remember this now, but, I recall that merely reinstalling, even from a fresh download does not do it.

I recall there begin a file somewhere that simply doing any sort of replace or reinstall doesn't get deleted.

Here's what I would try first if I was having that issue:

Download a fresh SexLab. Delete the one in your MO2 downloads folder manually. Go to the mod in MO2, go to the explorer directory. Remove the mod in MO2 and then manually delete anything left over in that directory. Then reinstall from the fresh downloaded SexLab.

If that doesn't work, try launching the game with everything in your override directory deleted.
