Kotazero Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 So i use Nini 1.2 Armors and they aren't enchantable I've searched google for hours now trying to figure out how to make them enchantable but i can't find a answer can someone tell or help me make them enchantable? Is it some keyword or something i need to add?
Tlam99 Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 You need to remove the keyword not disenchantable
Kotazero Posted December 20, 2021 Author Posted December 20, 2021 Just now, Tlam99 said: You need to remove the keyword not disenchantable From where?
moody132 Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 Spoiler TES5Edit, Open Nini esp, find right piece of armor in armors, go to keywords, select the one that you want and just press delete. Backup your esp just in case. Pretty sure there is a script for removing it from all at once, but i never did it before so i will not help you with this.
Tlam99 Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 If there is no magic effect applied, the keyword must be in armor, not armor addon.. What one can enchant depends on the bodyslot, too. As this is set in the esp, just attach the esp only, I will have a look.

Kotazero Posted December 20, 2021 Author Posted December 20, 2021 I am very sorry everyone i am an idiot i did not have the armor in my inventory thank you for your time...
nilead Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 Ok, there is an easy solution and a hard one, depending on the source of your problem. Enchanting in skyrim is restricted to specific slots. Since NINI stuff uses unconventional ones, its probably just does not match the slots allowed for enchantments. If that is the case - there is probably a mod to fix it. For SE there is https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19797?tab=description There was LE version as well, but i cant find it, if you're LE - youll have to google around( Another option - modders can set an item as non enchantable as a specific keyword (descriptors used to define what an item is, armor, clothing, hood etc). You can edit those using creation kit, or those TES5Edit(https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25859)/SSEdit (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/164) Its not the most user friendly thing, but will allow to do great things once you get the hang of it. Unfortunately, its impossible to tell if your issue is slot or keyword related from outside. Id reccomend using TES5Edit to open mod and see if DisallowEnchanting keyword is there. Edit: Ok, that one i didnt see coming)
Kotazero Posted December 20, 2021 Author Posted December 20, 2021 I've had a bit of a stressful week and forgot the armor sorry
