Having trouble with cbbe and tbbp installation and other things...help?

As the title says i am having a lot of trouble installing something right I guess. Basically I'm trying to get http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/2666//? with the body sliders and http://www.loverslab.com/topic/5153-bodyslide-cb-v095-35-extra-sliders-for-cbbe-outfit-support/ working together which I have done fine, as far as changing the shape. however I wanted to use the tbbp version enabled and had xp32's skeleton and whatnot for animations to work. I used this animation http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/34713/?. Now the problem is, is that Idk if its just me, but I cant see any real effect in the game, it looks like it is, but that may just be my mind playing tricks on me. I also get confused because some mods I see it says they require CHSBHC mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/4888//?. since both the xp32 skeleton and chsbhc  have skeletons withing the each file, wouldnt that make them overwrite eachother? I'm also trying to get all of this to work on a custom race called the Ningheim race http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35474//?. I also had the mod where it makes PC animations exclusive to the player only. I'm not sure if thats what might be the problem? I also used the fnis mod and the generatefnisuser application.

So as you can see, I'm kinda at a loss, how am I supposed to go about all of this correctly? Im so confused :C Any help is appreciated  :shy:

I will also reinstall skyrim if necessary >>

first if you can't see any effect, beginner users often forget that the armors must have tbbp support as well. when you dress up in skyrim, aou actually don't see your cbbe body, animation and body can be difiend in the armor-mod as well.

if you want to use CHSBHC and XP32 its not a problem, but then the installation order is very, very important. as you mentionend every mod can have it's own skeleton, even when it's not a skeleton mod in first place.

i installed CBBE, then CB++, then CHSBHC, then TBBP, then XPms. allways overwrite: yes.

last might cause problems, custom races and these mod you mentioned which provide anmiation modding only to PC. a custom race could be so custom that none of these addons named before would work or be compatible in anyway. only the racemod author should help you out in first place. i have seen long discussions of users with XP32 (also a person) who claim bugs to XPms, but he can't help them because their bugs belong to the racemods in first place. at last that mod which only changes PC animations might bug you out, you should contact that author too. most authors are very patient and reply more then once daily, don' bother to ask them on Nexus for example. questions can't be stupid :) there are only stupid answers out there.

I never bothered with the CHSBHC step really, it seems like an outdated part of the installation process. If you install XPMS right and choose the correct sliderset (CB++ with TBBP) in Bodyslide++ it's enough.

That's actually the sliderset I chose, I try and follow directions as best as I can, but I still never got it :I

Ok here is a step by step :

- Install CBBE + Bodyslide

- Make your bodies with bodyslide using a TBBP enabled sliderset (pressing ctrll when pressing the "make body" button will place the meshes inside the bodyslide folder)

- Make your armors to match your bodies with bodyslide

- install your animations

- Install XPMS say YES to overwrite

- Go into meshes/Nigheim folder and paste your meshes created with bodyslide, say yes to replace

Profit :)

ok then i have to mustache you a question: in bodyslide.exe did you arrange cb++ body tbbp in the slider set?

while using bodyslide.exe, a whole diffrent bodysystem can be applied ingame. if you choose cb++ body, you might not see any TBBP stuff. see the attchment.

That is precisely the one I used :I

I will give that a try after my tests I'm going to be taking by the time this is posted. many thanks for the suggestion c:

@falloutsurvivor -  CHSBHC is not needed, you may choose to use it or not.

Also: If you use Windows XP, Vista, or WIN7 (and maybe WIN8) make sure you run CBBE/CB++ as an administrator at all times.  User Account Control will mess you up by blocking a lot of your changes including body and armor adjustments.  If you use the Steam version of the game, it installs in a location that also creates problems, and you should move the installation to a different directory. Go to Steam and look through the game properties and help sections.  They have instructions for legally changing the install directory.

I have my game set up much as you are trying to do... Custom CB++ body, Unique Player character, Basvanbeau's muscle texture changer lite, Temptress race.  ALL adjusted to suit my tastes.  Be patient and work one step at a time, what you want to do is indeed possible.

Now to try and kill two birds with one stone, it isn't a big deal but I was also hoping for  glossy texture. something like this http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/images/56754/?

I've done editing in to the mesh file and had downloaded a skin texture somewhere on loverslab...but it looks more like a sweaty kinda look. Idk how you wanna call it but I prefer the "plastic doll" look, like from oblivion when you had glossiness set to 100 >.>

The ENB does half of the work here

When you launch bodyslide you have 2 buttons. one is build this body / outfit used to make the body meshes (step 2) the other one called BatchBuild Groups will show you another menu where you can choose which armors you want to build for this body (step 3), this step is not needed at all if you dont change the body in bodyslide by using a regular CBBEv3 body TBBP enabled an you just want to make TBBP compatible meshes as basically any compatible CBBE armor will fit the body perfectly.

If you need more information on bodyslide there a thread right here on LL.
