Help a noob with devious devices.

Hi I just downloaded the mod but I can't figure out where to get them in game, I think I ran bodyslide correctly. Can anyone help me out?

Easy. DD is basically just a framework for other mods. It provides them with Meshes, Textures and Premade stuff and the scripts needed to work. Without any other mod you have to either use Additem Menu or you can craft a very limited number of devices after reading a book contained on the college of winterholds library. If you want to find them in the world you need something like cursed loot

also try devious devices equip - that way you can check the equipment / effects / visuals.
