Busty May - Serena Mod for Pokémon ORAS - XY (BMSM)

Hey @Pokefan77, I want to use your mod, but I'm also trying to run a big romhack as well. I could just replace the regular may models in the romhack with yours then repack it with GARC tool, but I don't know the names of the files that get changed from your mod. Could you maybe list in the readme.txt file of your mod what filenames are the changed models for XY and ORAS?

@Pokefan77Just came back after not checking in for a while (Sorry?). Since you gave me the okay to share these in the public thread, I’m posting my own files for the 0.2 Busty May with the 0.1 outfit. They keep the improved curves of 0.2 onwards but restore the ORAS Red texture from the first 0.1 release. I meticulously edited the 0.1 PNG texture pixel by pixel in MS Paint and got it looking just about right on both Ohana Rebirth and on my actual 3ds after 44+ revisions. I hope to contribute what I can starting with these, and when I’m able to, I’ll provide compressed .zip files containing the folders and paths for use in Luma3ds’ LayeredFS on the genuine 3ds/2ds hardware as well as the game-modding feature for Citra. But these are the final modified files that I’m providing to the community in case someone here would like to improve on my fix.

has anybody been able to get this running on an actual 3ds?
I've got it to run in citra but cant for the life of me figure out how to make it work on the 3ds itself.

Is your 3DS modded? If not, you need to set it up for modding first

I wanted to get this to work on real 3ds hardware as well. Ive been looking around on how to edit it into the game but I cant seem to figure it out. My 3ds is modded of course.

So I got it to work but I did It a while ago so I don't really remember the specifics. I had extracted the game because I wanted to do a randomizer run ( Probably just look up a "how to randomizer" and you might be able to extract the game.) But after locating the files and following the instructions in the mod it worked. Make sure when you boot your 3ds you hold select and Enable game patching.

Im sorry if this doesn't make sense but thats the best I could do.

It was alot simpler then I thought. you can use Luma enable game patching and install them that way.
Enable Game Patching in Luma.
Put the 3ds's SD cart into your PC.
Inside of the Luma folder use this mods instructions on how to install it. However the "Mods" folder should be named "Titles" in the Luma folder everything esle is the name.

This is how mine look for Alpha Sapphire.
luma\titles\000400000011c500\romfs\a\1\3 put the file named "3" inside of the "3" folder.
luma\titles\000400000011c500\romfs\a\0\2 put the file named "1" inside of the "2" folder.

Any folders that don't exist create them yourself and I installed the mod on top of the Star Sapphire rom hack and it seems to be working fine.

I'm not the best at explaining but if someone need help ill try.

So I tried applying the v 0.5 to Pokemon Y on a hacked 3ds, and the overworld model worked, but the battle model didn't change. Idk what to do as I have both the 8 and 9 file in the 8 folder. Also, in both XY and ORAS< where do I go to change the clothes to other outfits that work with the mod?

Ok I figured out the issue. I wasn't wearing one of the tops that worked with the mod. I kind of wish there was a complete list of all of the ones that worked, with pictures, as some of the tops seem bigger than others. Also, for ORAS, how can we change clothes to another outfit that works with the mod?

Works on hardware, thanks and bless you.

I still remember the original versions of these and how the creator of the XY one just up and disappeared, and took the mod with him. Huge props to you for keeping it alive.

Took the evening to learn the process and made my own edit of ORAS May from v0.5. Removed her top and changed hair color, aswell as some other minor changes.

These work in-game on real hardware.

Feel free to give feedback, my first time making anything like this. Also feel free to use this for whatever you like.

Might try messing around with models sometime, re-texturing was pretty easy.

I’ll provide the raw LayeredFS with everything in the correct directories in about an hour or so

"SD ROOT" refers to whatever your 3ds'/2ds' SD Card is named. Drag the "luma' folder of your game's respective .ZIP to your SD's root directory (merge if asked, unless you already have a different ORAS mod you wish to keep). Make sure "Loading of External firms & Modules" and "Enable Game Patching" are both turned on in your Luma Settings (hold "Select" when powering your LumaCFW'd system on to reach this particular menu).
