Passion vs Kinky World

What is the difference between these two amazing mods?

I have already tried kinkyworld, but never Passion. I would like to know what stands out from one mod to the other and the differences that make them special. ?

Passion is "limited" to managing sexual animations. You select who you want you to have sex with and they do it. You can move them to other places, change positions, select more sims to join, etc. There are consequences in the relationships between the sims after that some moods increase but nothing else. Kinky is much more complicated (managing clubs, drugs, prostitution, exhibitionism ,,,) therefore it is a more demanding mod both at the game level and for the PC you use

Passion does a little bit more than just play animations. Sims can autonomously passion. If they don't passion for a while, they will develop a negative horny moodlet, and it can eventually push them to be more willing to passion autonomously. If they passion frequently, they will develop a positive horny moodlet, and that can also increase their willingness to passion.

 

Passion also has some stuff added for supernatural sims. Witches can cast a spell on sims to make them super horny, resulting in the recipient of the spell immediately asking the caster to passion. Vampires get several new interactions. Additionally, if your sim knows any vampires, there is a chance that the vampire will show up in your house in the middle of the night and hypnotize your sim into passion with them.

 

By default, passion does not result in pregnancy, but you can enable a sort of risky behavior setting with passion. If you have that enabled, you can buy condoms from the store, and you have to explicitly use them (or have a female give a condom to a male), otherwise your sims will not use a condom and run the risk of pregnancy. With pregnancy enabled, you can also enable social diseases, and passion without a condom risks getting an infection.

 

Passion also adds a sort of separate add-on for kinky bartenders.

 

However, Passion is definitely much smaller than Kinky World. Kinky World has a whole bunch of stuff it adds, and much of that is unrelated to just sex. It is definitely resource intensive, especially if you also like using other intense add-ons like various Story Progression mods.
