GMac2021 Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 I honestly tried to find a way to P.M. GregatHit, but I am not familiar with this new verison of Lover's Lab. I just could not find a link. This thread is not a big deal, but I have no idea what I did wrong. So, at the risk of looking like an idiot (which is nothing new for me...), I ask: Mr. GregatHit, with all due respect, I was recently issued a warning (no points) for having a signature that broke the rules. I do not have signatures visible, and I honestly do not recall uploading a signature at all. I NEVER have signatures on ANY forum I am signed up for. I hate sigs. I acknowledged the warning and I accept the fact that I probably messed up. But I do not know WHAT mistake I made The only thing I can think of is that I made an idiotic error and accidentally posted my avatar image in the signature slot and hit "Update". I really and truly have no recollection of uploading a signature. I have nothing to "Sig"! I have been away from Lover's Lab for over a year. I do not know how to activate private messages and I am basically lost when it comes to navigating the new Lover's Lab forum. I have read the rules and everything, but I am not sure how to navigate and modify my profile. I am positive that I did not intentionally upload a signature of any type. Even though the warning cost me no points, I have no idea what I did wrong - so there a chance I will do something stupid again. And that WILL cost me. I like it here, but I do not want to be afraid to be a member of this site I do not mean to waste your time, but I do not know where I erred. I know you gave me the benefit of the doubt, but if I messed up once there is a good chance that I might do it again. Delete this thread if it is innapropriate. As I said, I do not know how to PM you, so I posted in "Talk about anything related to the community or modding in general!" I mean no disrespect. I wanted to keep this private but I am more than a little bit lost here now. P.S. I just turned 50 on May 2. I take public criticism quite well. I am open to be being schooled or directed towards the information and instructions that I am probably blatantly missing.

To change it click on your picture icon on the top and then the edit profile button .... on the left should be a signature section click on it to edit delete or whatnot to your signature.
gregathit Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 Your PM messaging is turned off in your settings. Turn it on to send and receive PM's. The reason I gave you a verbal warning was because you posted your entire Oblivion load order in the area for your sig. It is no longer there as I deleted it. I had to issue a warning because your PM messaging was turned off. If your PM messaging had been on I would have instead just PM'd you about it. There is nothing sinister going on and you have no reason to be afraid. Verbal warnings don't carry any penalties. Once you have your PM's turned on you are welcome to message me and we can discuss this further if you like. Thread Locked.
