Visual Studio

I was wanting to work on a project (I wanted to see if I could add some small features to BodySlide) which needs to be built under Visual Studio.

 

But, Visual Studio requires that I sign in on Microsoft, and for some reason (a) I have not been able to do so, and (b) when I try to get microsoft to send me an authentication code to sign in without a password, I never receive any authentication codes. 

 

I even tried this with a different email address...

 

So... something is wrong somewhere and I have zero visibility into what has gone wrong and where it has gone wrong. For a company the size of Microsoft we do not even get status information about outages.

 

...

 

But what would be a viable alternative here? I cannot even report the problem without signing in.

What is your operating system, and what version of VS are you using? (year and type, like 2019 Community)
