EdwardV Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 As the title says, when ever my character interacts with the door to any inn, be it in solitude, whiterun, or riverwood, I am hit with an infinite load, music is playing and need to use task manager to close the game. I've found other posts saying that something in the inn might be the problem, but if that were the case wouldn't I also be unable to coc into the inn? I can assure you that coc-ing into the inn not only works but is not a fluke as I can save outside an inn, attempt to enter, get hit with a load, restart, coc into the inn and it works and I leave. I then try to enter again and am hit with infinite load. Any thoughts or solutions would be very helpful. Â Thanks in advance, Edward V.
belegost Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 Does it get stuck on an actual loading screen or does it sound like you're inside (you can hear NPC's talking but the screen remains dark) and alt-tabbing back and forth makes the process hang? Does the game create an auto save inside an inn which can then be loaded up with no problems?Â

After force quitting the game, no new auto save has been created from entering the inn. During these kinds of freezes, I can alt-tab to interact with other windows thanks to having multiple monitors, but the game screen does not minimize, and any windows behind the game window cant be brought forward to interact with.
