Would like input/suggestions on this idea of mine.

First thread of mine in a while o.0. I apologize for the crappy title (and for the random rambling to follow. In fact you could probably skip the entire 2nd paragraph if you wanted to).

 

So for some time now I've been toying with an idea. It's not a new H-game unfortunately, but rather, a list of them. Now you might be wondering if I plan to list every single adult game out there. That is not the case. Actually what I had in mind was a list of "H-Ryona games", essentially adult games dealing with... well... I think http://www.ryonani.com/showwiki/Ryona does a good job of explaining things. I've come to understand that ryona has lots of "types" but I'd like this list to focus on things like rape (including game over rape or "GoR"), and such (oh god, this sounds so wrong to type out, even when I'm doing it here at LL 0.0). 

 

Now, why do I want to create this list? Well, to start off, I realized that I had "ryona fetish" when I discovered hentai and erotic art and such (although for me I don't particularly enjoy stepping into the "extreme" stuff like guro, and other things like seeing women getting the shit beaten out of them for the enjoyment of the perpetrator or just for the hell of it. Note that I say "extreme" because "extreme" is subjective. Also, I don't intend to judge people if they do have that "variant" of the fetish that I labelled "extreme". I have nothing wrong these sorts of "extreme fetishes" so as long as they aren't acted out on real people. Oh look, here I am trying to justifying myself here at Loverslab! I probably look like an idiot right now! moving on). Then I discovered hentai games which opened whole new experiences. It has sort of gotten to the point where I seek out purely hentai games with "ryona" aspects to them. Games without it don't particularly interest me for the most part. 

 

But the thing is, all these games are scattered throughout the internet. What I'd like to do is create a list that will provide links to these games wherever they are, so that you guys don't have to search for them (as hard). Ever since I made the LL's List of Free Adult Websites! thread (http://www.loverslab.com/topic/2814-lls-list-of-free-adult-websites/) I've realized the power of the community coming together and sharing their knowledge. I mean, I didn't know about 95% of the sites on that list until you guys contributed ! 

 

I also realize that there are other "lists" out there that try to do similar things but they usually limit themselves to the community they're in or are forgotten/abandoned. One thing I'd like to stress is that this won't simply be a direct copy of those lists already in existence. But I will use some for inspiration and I most certainly will credit their authors. 

 

Alright, so so far I've been thinking of dividing it into the following categories (more to be added) :

-2D Platformer

-2D Side Scroller

-M.U.G.E.N.

-RPG Maker games

-3D Fighting Games (So far I only know of a few so this category may or may not exist. If not, then the games will be re-located)

-3D Platformers (Same as with 3D Fighters)

-R.A.G.S.

-Text Based (Other than R.A.G.S.)

-Flash Games (still debating its existence)

-Browser Based Games (still debating)

That's all I can think of right now, I'm probably forgetting some, feel free to make suggestions!

 

Now I'm still a bit unsure about whether this list will cover both Free and Commercial games (as in games that require you to buy them) or just free games and whether or not to include WIPs without any releases. I will most likely not provide links to torrents of commercial games if I do include priced games.

 

For each game I plan on mentioning the title, developer(s) (if available), distributor (if not the developer(s)), whether it's free or commercial (if I do intend on including games that cost money), what language it's in (and if not in English, I'll provide links to the pages with translations), the gender of the protagonist(s), perhaps what general ryona themes are in play, and maybe whether it is still in development or not. I might also include a short description or my personal notes/thoughts on each game. 

 

One thing I'd like to note is that I do plan on crediting the creators and/or the people who made the game public (if they didn't necessarily make the game). I will also link to their threads/blogs, not to the download pages. I want to be considerate of other people's contributions.

 

So... yeah. Tell me what you think. Is this a good idea? Is this redundant/unnecessary? Is there anything I should know before starting? What are your opinions on the categories and such?

Well while dividing by engine is fine but sorting by fetish subcategory is more useful I think, because that's what people are looking in first place.

Hey guys, I just felt like saying that I haven't abandoned this idea! While I would've liked more responses from the forum, that is okay. As summer approaches I'll have more time to devote to this list, I guess I'll go with my original ideas, however, if anyone has anything they'd like to say about this topic, feel free to say it!
