Help with nude mods

Hi!

 

Definite newbie question here - I've just started messing about with all these amusing new mods. They're great fun to play with, I've got Lovers going with a few addons and whatnot though I've noticed all the female characters still have bras and underwear on.

I've tried looking for and downloading nude mods, but I've got very little clue how to get them working. They seem to come with just folders full of files that don't seem to ever be in the right place no matter where I put them (reading instructions, of course, I'm a good girl) and I'm a little scared of replacing mesh/texture files in case something breaks horribly or I replace the wrong ones due to tinybrain.

 

So - does anyone know a good body replacer/nude mod that's easy to install and isn't anime-ish? To be honest I really don't want to change up the body meshes too much, changes the game experience as a whole way too much for me. I'd just like a bit of gratuitous nekkidness!

Well to answer the question you need to think about what bodies you want. Girls with small, medium, big or huge boobs, and so on and so on. Same stories for guys (not the boobs but you get my meaning).

 

1. Here is where you either are set or faced with a dilemma: Do you want all guys and girls to look the same? If so then pick you poison and all will be well:

NOTE: there are literally dozens of different bodies for women and a few more for men on the nexus. I'm just trying to get you started thinking about what you may want.

 

2. If you want variation between individuals "equipment" then you want a "setbody" mod: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=39966

In my opinion this is the way to go as it has pretty much all of the major bodies out there built into one mod. You can change your body type "in game" as well as change the body type of other NPC's.

 

The clothing WILL NOT change with the above replacements. The naked body will only show with clothes removed (all or partial). Setbody (option 2) comes with the option of an OMOD. An omod is kinda like an exe (meaning a really easy install) through OBMM (oblivion mod manager). If you don't have OBMM - then run and don't walk over to get it as you really have to have it for load order management. OBMM - http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2097

Basically just install OBMM and then download an omod file and double click on it and it will launch OBMM. Then select it from the right column and click "activate" on the bottom bar of OBMM and it will install everything for you.

I'll e-run and grab those, the setbody one sounds like a very good bet, I'm not fussy about body specifications so much as annoyed that underpants seem to be integrated body parts XD
