Sselhak
Hi! I have been experimenting a bit with 3D images. It is quite easy to create a 3D image from the game that works not for red-blue 3D glasses, but for VR glasses. However, since it's quite time-consuming to always take two equally-shifted photos, I wanted to ask how it is with the game's built-in 3D image capture. This does nothing else than 2 images that are slightly offset, only it puts them on top of each other when outputting as a red-blue image. Do you think there is a way that this internal 3D photography just outputs both images separately? Then it would be much faster to create VR capable 3D images. Just click the button in the game and put the two images side by side on the PC, done. Here's a quick test if anyone wants to try it out with VR goggles: It should work the same way with videos, it's just a bit more work to record a frequency twice in the game from slightly different angles and play it side by side in the VR goggles. But that should also work great. Greetings, maybe someone else finds the idea interesting or can even program something that the game outputs both images individually when clicking on the 3D photo button. Sselhak 2 Link to comment
ACTO1
Good stuff. I have also been experimenting with 3d vr images/vids recently in game. Best methods and/or at least quickest with best results so far for me have been by using the built-in vr mode set as sbs then snapping screens or recording screen @ 4096 x 2048...at least for quest 2 I use. Other method I've been playing with is by using reshade with depth3d/depth3dvr plugins active which kicks game screen into split sbs by itself without needing to do it in game i.e. hitting F3. I've also tried conversions from 2d to 3d after the fact but it definitely lacks the same level of clear visual depth and ease of use as with TK17-158_2021_10_14_05_33_25_698.mp4TK17-158_2021_10_14_05_33_25_698.mp4TK17-158_2021_10_14_05_33_25_698.mp4TK17-158_2021_10_14_05_33_25_698.mp4TK17-158_2021_10_14_05_33_25_698.mp4 TK17-158_2021_10_14_05_33_25_698.mp4 1 Link to comment
