nexusmexus1234 Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 Just mucking around, added custom voice dialogue for a pre made character I created a quest dialogue that I can get to run in full with sound that matches the response text but on every topic only my topic text will appear and there are no corresponding NPC subtitles on screen appearing when the voices are heard. For each response I have created separate sound descriptions in CK which I use as the sound files using the select sound button in the Edit response screen. I've tried using the force subtitle box on the topic info screen but that doesn't work. I've used the TESEdit program to create the SEQ file I couldn't find a lot of help online for this problem. Any information is appreciated.

So you have it set up and your PC dialogue is showing text but the voiced response from npc is not showing text but is playing voice? Its early on my end.
Heroine HoneyCrotch Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 Did you generate lip files in ck, it feels like ages ago when I messed with voiced dialogue last but I remember having to generate lip files and I remember a "has lip files" box where force dialogue box is.
nexusmexus1234 Posted September 21, 2021 Author Posted September 21, 2021 I've tested a lip file on the first topic but I am unfamiliar with the whole process in general. I will research lip file creation and see what i can find. Thank you!

I'm not sure if this is how its supposed to work but if i duplicate the response text it does create the subtitles. Spoiler Anyways thanks again.
