Switching NPC to BBP

So I'm using the mod SR Elf Followers ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/34063/? ), and I'm trying to get BBP to work for them..  It's been ages since I last did any modding(Back in Morrowind in fact..), and needless to say I'm feeling like an utter noob all over again.

 

Now.. I -thought- I knew how to do this, but clearly I haven't a clue at this point, and felt it was time to just give in and see if I could find any advice/help on the matter.

 

So, does anyone know how I would go about getting BBP to work with these standalone followers?

Well technically I would say that sense they use the UNP body you could just grab a BBP enabled UNP body shove it in the folder that the persons body is in whatever that is. Then add a skeleton that has the bones for such things so something like XP's skeleton in the folder their skeleton is in and I would imagine that would work just fine.

 

Now I'm not 100% sure of this but I would think that would work just fine.

 

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

They should already use the same skeleton, only their meshes would be different, just copy your meshes to their folders and you should be good to go.

 

The skeleton.nif and beastskeleton.nif are used by all actors, even standalone followers.

ihr liegt beide vollkommen richtig , man muß nur die femalebody.nif dateien im meshes ordner tauschen .

 

eins muß man aber beachten , wenn das original ein unp körper ist und du aber ein CHSBHC - BBP verwenden willst , dann sind die körper texturen nicht kompatiebel !

 

das heißt das du dann auch die passenden texturen installieren mußt .

 

ich hoffe ich konnte ein wenig helfen und das alles zu verstehen war .
