Handcuffs have disappeared in VX?

I was going over some old poses featuring handcuffs and the cuffs will not appear. I know there was a trick to this, but I can't remember what it is. Anybody know how to make the cuffs appear?

in the Pose Editor, in the Handcuffs & DressMorphs section, there's a checkbox labelled "Handcuffs".

Check it to enable handcuffs in the current pose.

Yeah, found I have to enable it there first and then enable it in the character's outfit menu. Kind of a clunky way to do it.
