FoxLotus Posted September 6, 2021 Posted September 6, 2021 Hello. I've had a re-occurring problem for some time. An I'm still not precisely sure what the cause is or maybe. I have some speculations but no real success in testing. My game audio will randomly just disable during the game and never returns unless I do a full game exit and restart, which.. can be highly annoying for any gaming enjoyment. I do believe it occurs most often during anything related with SLF and/or while using Immersive first person during an end scene as the animation transitions out. Now I'm not entirely sure it's related specifically to SLF's handling of things as I've a plethora of mods that interact with SLF as well layer in more audio.. mods like ZaZ, SL-survival, spankthatass, SLSO, arousal, dripping, etc... It's gotten to the point where I've come to no conclusive aha moment. So I'm reaching out to inquire if others have had this audio problem with heavily modded SSE builds? Or have heard of others with this same issue. My audio drivers are all up to date.. an no other games or audio features I run do this, it's purely a skyrim SE issue, no other games have the audio glitch out on me.
coolfreaky Posted September 6, 2021 Posted September 6, 2021 there are some different solutions in google or duckduckgo exemple here : Sound Problems! (SOLVED) :: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition Discussions générales (steamcommunity.com) sadly there is no simple solution . a lot of read materiel and testing .
FoxLotus Posted September 7, 2021 Author Posted September 7, 2021 Yeah.. seems like I'm searching for a needle in a haystack. I will make mention to note the audio does pop just before it cuts out all sound completely. In the same manner one might hear when disconnecting/connecting an audio jack while speakers are powered. That's about it, all the connections are good. An again, it only occurs with SSE.
alex77r4 Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 I presume you have added a lot of mods with audio and, probably, one of them have a file in a bad format. Skyrim only support specific audio formats at specific bit rate, i not know the exact details, but i read some post about it. If some file not have the correct format the most normal is that the game not reproduce it. But maybe some file have a fake format and is breaking the audio system of the game in a critical way. Test disabling mods until you locate the problem.
