Dyiing Posted September 2, 2021 Posted September 2, 2021 Hello! I'm creating my own mods, and having some issues with item respawns. Basically, any item that is laying out that the player can pick up will not respawn after 30 days. It happens on any new mod I make. I've tried copy-pasting a vanilla object, and the vanilla items will respawn but not my pasted items. I even tried moving a vanilla object slightly and then it stopped respawning. It happens regardless of the Zone or Cell I choose or place the mod in. And yes, the "Respawns" checkbox is enabled on all items. Static objects, movable static, flora, and containers all correctly respawn, but items that the player can pick up do not. I've seen a couple other posts mentioning this with no replies Any help is appreciated, I'm really stuck with this one. If someone would like to try and reproduce this issue to see if it's an issue with my files, that would be cool! What I did below: Spoiler 1. Make new mod in creation kit that simply adds a misc item or weapon into a cell (next to a vanilla item in the cell). 2. Pick up the modded item and a vanilla item, then reset the cell by following these instructions/commands: coc RiverwoodSleepingGiantInn (or somewhere else with a bed) pcb SetGS iHoursToRespawnCell 1 Sleep for 2+ hours. coc to any other exterior Return to your location and test the results 3. See if the modded item respawns correctly or not compared to the vanilla item. Edit to add: I've just tried the same thing with a public mod and those items didn't respawn either... maybe for some reason all modded items do not respawn? I guess I'll have to break out another machine to try it on.
