Sims Moodlets question

So I've noticed something that's been missing from the Sims 4 game for a while now,and I can't tell if it's removed from the game entirely or if it's been removed by having mods.

Here's what I'm talking about: When you played as a Sim and in the left corner they would have three thought bubbles over their head that usually consisted of "Wants to talk to Sim" "Wants to buy a thing" "Wants to play prank on Sim" and so on and you'd get points if they did it.

 

Did they remove that from the game,or is it because of mods?

It's still in game. Go to settings and from gameplay (i think), you can check the "show whims" button.

Do you have it activated in game options? See if you have it checked in "game options" and then "gameplay" and "show whims".

Do note though that EA has given up on the system and hasn't really added any new whims since Get Famous (which is why they are now off by default), so if you want to play with them I'd reccomend you get the whimoverhaul mod from Bienchen or you will just be spammed with whims to buy umbrella stands and dishwashers.
