[Modding] NPC Dialogue during Sexlab scenes

Just a conceptual question:

 

Suppose we have a Player x NPC sex scene in progress. Sexlab auto-advance stages is set to 0 (manual).

Is it possible to have an NPC actor of the Sexlab scene initiate the dialogue with the player (vanilla-type of dialogue interface) whenever player advances the scene (i.e. presses spacebar)?

 

The mod 'Sexlab Dirty Talk" has NPCs talk during scenes, but those lines are not in-dialogue, player cannot respond. So at least a part of that is possible. What about full dialogues? Does Sexlab framework just not support that by design?
