So yesterday i made a post how my mods made me CTD. after a lot of work, and people helping me to understand how the load order should be i fixed it and my game worked perfect. But while playing, after doing the Mara quest and force marrying a woman in whiterun, I CTD. I had fast travelled to her house in whiterun, but she werent there so i waited two days... nothing happened, so i fast travelled back to Riften and then the screen went black. Eventually I had to force restart my computer. Then when i logged back in and tried to load my game I CTD right after the loading screen begins. Guest SemiPr0 Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 Okay a couple things here. Your load order still shows that you're loading plugins below your bashed patch. First to understand something about bashed patches....every time you change your load order, you have to delete your bashed patch and create a new one, otherwise information from the original bashed patch could still be trying to load from the bashed patch and the mods themselves are different and the load order is different. Even changing your load order can require you to create a new bashed patch. Your Papryus log appears to point at BBLS as your issue but thats not entirely correct either its just where the log seems to end. Its got a lot of errors in it where referenced scripts are simply not there to be used. Also right there in your load order its telling you that the sneak tools plugins you have are missing a master file. That generally should cause a full on CTD before the game even loads so the fact that you're CTDing on fast travel is actually better than the results you could be having. Let me stress again, like I did in your previous thread that running BOSS will generally get your load order sorted out but anything placed below your bashed patch are things that BOSS is not sorting and you cannot depend on BOSS to deal with those files you have to sort them manually, everything loaded in your load order below your bashed patch must go above it or you will have nothing but problems.

Btw to remake the batch mod, do i just have to run the BOSS GUI after its done the 1st scan, and then let it fix those issues?

Lol i did make it, but it was my first time, so it was more out of luck:P however it was successful. ill try to run the game now and see if it works.

For example, if you play Skyrim with Mod X and create a save, the next time you load that save, the game will expect Mod X to also be loaded. If you no longer want to play Skyrim with Mod X, it is best to unload Mod X (by unchecking the plugin under Data Files in your Skyrim launcher) and loading a save that does not require Mod X, usually an older save or a backed up save. When you move a mod or remove a mod from a load order you corrupt the save. There's no way back. You can try save game cleaner but ymmv. People thing you can just chuck mods in and play, you can't, it's not plug and play. Considering the actual master files from skyrim are filled with bugs and dirty edits from the start, dlc and patches can potentially kill your save file let alone using mods.

For example, if you play Skyrim with Mod X and create a save, the next time you load that save, the game will expect Mod X to also be loaded. If you no longer want to play Skyrim with Mod X, it is best to unload Mod X (by unchecking the plugin under Data Files in your Skyrim launcher) and loading a save that does not require Mod X, usually an older save or a backed up save. When you move a mod or remove a mod from a load order you corrupt the save. There's no way back. You can try save game cleaner but ymmv. People thing you can just chuck mods in and play, you can't, it's not plug and play. Considering the actual master files from skyrim are filled with bugs and dirty edits from the start, dlc and patches can potentially kill your save file let alone using mods. Apart from heavy scripted mods, there are many mod examples that are totally plug and play (body replacers, textures, animations etc..) A mod that totally changes the gameplay mechanics or heavy quest mods will fill your save with scripts that will indeed stay in even if you remove them. That was already the case for CLS back in Oblivion, itr is recommended to make a playthrough just to play it and to uninstall it once done (and even make a new character would not hurt). A modded Skyrim can be even more stable than vanilla if you READ the mod descriptions and you are using the right tools (Wrye Bash, BOSS, FNIS....).

People barely read a mod description before installing one and then complaining that it broke their game and that's even before going in to best practices regarding load order When you add an esp to the game you're only taking a mod author's word for what it contains (unless you open it in the ck yourself) so in those cases it's best to follow the best practices above and expect it to write changes in to your save file.
