I have a suicidal trait thing and for storytelling purposes it would really help to have one. but not extreme violence or any that actually kill sims. mainly yelling and hitting and or degrading sims. if this isn't allowed here please just politely tell me. I am just trying to create this story I had in mind. Of evil dad screaming abusive and possibly hitting his teenage son for various reasons, the son being suicidal before finally running off on his own and overcoming the abuse by working hard and finally living a happy life. maybe also allowing said abusive things between lovers or married couples.

Drives me up a wall that people can kill strangers in the game, but domestic violence is where they draw the line in terms of overkill. (Not intentional pun.) Faolon Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 The Extreme Violence mod has slapping and punching. Complete with bloody noses and crap. It's basically what you need, you don't need to use any of the killing animations. Just use the non-lethal stuff. I've done something similar to you. I used the extreme violence mod to start, but removed it once I had gotten further into the sim's story. Basically, I had a teen who was abused, so she runs away from her house and lives on the "streets".(I just bought her one of the smallest newcrest houses and decorated it like a park.) I had her dumpster diving and stuff thanks to Eco Lifestyle. Then she got addicted to drugs and things spiraled down from there. I had removed extreme violence by this point as I didn't need it anymore. She ended up a single mom and stopped doing drugs to raise her kids. (she was a YA by this point) I always end up getting a new idea for a sim and so I just stopped playing that one and started the new idea.
