had a blackout and steam said game was not installed but was still there taking storage space

i tried some stuff like adding the folder to the steam library but dint work, said the folder was there

i just went and deleted the damn thing and i´m redownloading the game

was there a better thing to do, maybe for future reference

I think that, even if you buy the game though Steam, you should use Origin to launch the game.

Its a steam thing and nothing new  i ve read this in other steam games too  would use google to search for game dont show up ect.

Right Click > Proprieties > Local Files > Verify integrity of the games files

 

And if this doesn't work, a clean reinstall is needed.

also tried the Origin launch
