How to make spell more effective in TesEdit

I created my own version of vampire seduction. Initially it worked fine, but all of a sudden it only effects characters level 18 or lower. I want to raise the cap (or outright eliminate it so it works on everyone). I can't figure out how to do it though.

(The reason I made my own version was to get past the once a day limitation without altering the other version of the spell. I did this by changing the new spell to a lesser power rather than a power in TesEdit.)

Here's the weird thing. When i first got the spell in game, it effected characters up to level 96. I have no idea why is suddenly changed to only be 18 or lower.

This spell is a scripted version of calm.

Apply perk masterofmind in magical effects and raise power to 100

or skillmuliplier illusion from 1 to 10.

Thank you very much. I will do so ASAP (possibly both).

Edit: Odd, neither is appearing in the perk options of magic effect.

Edit 2: I must be doing this wrong. Do you think you can show me some screen shots on what to do?

Also I am doing this for a new spell, which has 4 magic effects listed for it. I'm not sure which ones I will need to duplicate, since I am trying to leave the original version of the spell untouched.

Edit 3: Figured it out. However this method removed the ability to feed on the mesmerized victims. However, there is a MUCH easier way.

In the new spell, just raise the magnitude to 999 instead of 1 or 10. Problem solved. I wouldn't have known to do this except that I noticed the moth priest (who's seduction is essential to a quest) had a 999 magnitude as opposed to the other's being 1 or 10. So I changed those and boom, I can effect any NPC as long as their level isn't above 1007 lol.
