Custom warpaint from a follower as my own

Found awesome warpaint from a custom follower and would like to use it as my own.

 

Taking the textures from textures\actors\character\FaceGenData\FaceTint and simply placing them in actors\character\Character assets\tintmasks works, but the head gets a darkish/brownish color and the color of the warpaint gets a dark/brown color as well. The warpaint is originally white.

 

 

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
