DaemonGirl VS Dildoball Animation w/ interactive cameras.

Hello. I'm The_Zyklonn.

I'm a 3d Artists who is trying to improve to develop good 3d animation scenes, and maybe in the future, complete games.

After trying to develop the first episode of an episodic game, called Ariel in the island, the code/bug fixing of the game, took so much time, that my other skills got worsen for the lack of practice.

For that reason, I left that game as an unfinished protoype, and later I thought that could be better for me, to develop smaller/sex only animations.

Still, I'm in love with the realtime stuff. I think that making things realtime has the potential to introduce some interaction by the user, or to become VR someday.

Therefore, until the moment, I'm releasing 2 versions of all my animations:

-One of them is classical: An mp4 file. With the beggining and the end.

-The other one is a realtime scene, with loops and interactive cameras. It's an .exe done in Unreal Engine, and the scene contains some Cinematic driven cameras, before/after the main loop action enters, in which the user can posses a camera and see the action from any angle.

The latest work I have done this way is this one:

-Animation only version:  DaemonGirl vs DildoBall Final Version - Pornhub.com

-Realtime version:  DaemonGirl vs DildoBall by The Zyklonn (itch.io)

For me, it is important to have the opinion of a good, traditional/well known community like yours, about if I'm making the right thing.

Making the scene with some coding, and releasing it with a presentation menu... adds to me an extra layer of work ( and difficulty), that most artists out there doesn't have.

This forum has tradition to me. Back in 2015/2016, when I was learning 3d for the first time, I was frustrated that there weren't good sex games, and only too few of them, and this forum (and the NEXUS), with all the modding of Skyrim (Oblivion in my times), was one of the things that inspired me the most, to be developing the things I'm releasing now.

Is my idea important? Should I focus in video animation only? 3d realtime version with cameras animations, aren't needed? What do you think?

If I know that there is demand enough, I will keep making the two versions of my stuff, but definetly this is making me release my art slowly.

Hello! I believe as an artist it's down to what you enjoy doing the most. If you like practicing 3D animation more than anything involving game design you should focus most on 3D animation. If you enjoy both types of art you should try to balance the two, take time to practice both things consistently. If you choose that direction, you may never perfect either art mediums. There is nothing wrong with that if neither of those skills are clearly lacking.  How quickly your art releases is only important if you want to gather a large following, or if you're trying to meet an agreed upon deadline.

What I value in my art is quality not quantity, therefore the rate at which it is released isn't very important to me as long as it is to my own standards. I've watched the animation you posted above and I think it's great! But there is still more you need to learn and practice and there always will be. If you practice to perfect your 3D animation skills, perhaps one day someone will come forth and ask you to collaborate with them to make a great game using your combined skills. It all comes down to what you like to do the most, and how satisfied you are with the work you do.

Just remember to take a break every once in a while and practice something else to keep you from getting burnt out, and when practicing in any medium remember to challenge yourself by doing things that you are afraid you cannot do well. Above all else have fun, your desire to learn those skills came from your passion of those mediums, don't do so much that you eventually hate doing it. Recognize when the fun turns into work. If it feels like work, take a break and have fun with something else for a little while.

I wish you all the best in your future endeavors and expect you to be quite popular someday. Always do your best!
