Memory Use Spike when used with MCCC

Hello everyone,

 

I'm hoping someone can help me.  I have just the base game and I started to have this issue a month or so ago where my game would run fine for an hour or so (in game clock)  but then the time would stop progressing and nothing could be clicked.  The animations continued so the game isn't crashing.  What I noticed through task manager was that the Memory usage of the game would continue to increase up to 90% if I left it. 

I removed all of the mods and custom content and started a new game and it didn't happen.  I tried the game with all custom content and no mods, and it didn't happen. 

 

the game runs fine with only  WW installed, and the game runs fine with only MCCC installed (I don't use MCCCWoohoo).  But if I have both of  them installed this issue occurs.  I've tried running the game with only the 2 mods and I still get the issue.  I can run the game with all of my mods/CC EXCEPT one of these 2 and it will play just fine. 

 

can anyone give me some advice about how I could fix this problem?

What's your version of The Sims?

Likewise, what are your versions of both WW and MCCC?

Did you change any settings at all?

I have the most up to date versions of the game, MCCC and WW.  I set both MCCC and WW to default settings and the same thing happened.
