Taking an NPCs face preset and using it as your own?

Hello! Allow me to explain a little bit. I've been watching SEXYBONO's stuff for a while now, and really wanted to play as his succ character... But, I looked and theres been no face preset released. However, I did find a thread previously created on LoversLab about just this. Well, kind of. It was... Overall about what the title of *this* post is, but it involved that same character.

I've attempted to PM the OP of the thread, but sadly he/she hasn't been on in about a week. Hopefully they'll be back soon, but in the mean time I'm gonna see if I can get things done by myself. I've been asking around the Nexus Discord server, but came up short. So... I'm hoping you guys can help once again as you did in the thread here; 

If you could either
1. Identify mods used to make this character (I already have the horns)
2. Explain the process that went into doing what seemed to be done in the thread

If I'm understanding what you're asking correctly, you're going to need a fair bit of technical know-how to do this. I recommend reading the moderator's reply to the topic you linked. It's your best bet at finding what you need. Otherwise, you're more or less going to have to hope you find the supporting mods somehow.

 

It MIGHT be possible to take the assets used by the NPC and replace the PC's assets with them, but attempting to modify them if you don't like the way it looks by default could be tricky.

 

As far as directly finding the name of the mod(s) used to create the follower, there's no way to do so unless the author of the follower mod explicitly names them. When assets are packaged into a mod, whether they were used in other mods or not, they are directly linked to the new mod they're contained in.

 

For example, let's say I copy Bijin Warmaidens's Lydia and all of her changes and package that copy into a new mod. There's no way to "know" I used Bijin Warmaidens from looking at the mod file directly. You'd either need to know what Bijin Warmaidens's Lydia looks like already or I'd have to tell you where/how I obtained those assets. Otherwise, all that the Creation Kit, xEdit, or the in-game console will tell you is that it's from my mod.

 

Again, I recommend reading the comments of the topic you linked. Other than learning how to convert those assets for use with the PC, making a "close copy" in racemenu/ECE, or being lucky enough to have the original author respond, I don't know what to tell you.

Though, for everyone looking for help to get their character to look exactly the same as Pei, feel free to send me a private message and I'll send you the preset with all the assistance needed.

I don't know why I got to have pei as the main character, but could someone tell me specifically what mods I need for makeup and that? I don't want anything from ENB, just the mods I need to be like sexybono's and where can i get them, thanks
