Demonwise Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Ok so I am wondering if there is anyway to disable or change the way that the game causes actors to fade the closer the camera gets. This is particularly annoying if your character is in the middle of sex or something and you scroll the camera in only to find that all of a sudden the game has caused your partner to disappear. Or if you are in 3rd person and for some reason you feel like oogling over yourself and you zoom the camera in only to have YOUR body disappear. Frankly it's both ridiculous and annoying. Is there anyway to turn this off?
Guest SemiPr0 Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 open console and type tfc then sucsm 5 if you want slower camera scrolling speed. You can take it down to 2 or 1 but that gets really slow.
Demonwise Posted May 25, 2013 Author Posted May 25, 2013 And that would turn off the annoying effect of the actor fading out of view?
Guest SemiPr0 Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 It shouldn't fade out of view when in free camera mode unless you're literally INSIDE the body mesh itself. If you're faded or partially transparent in view its because you were in first person mode or your camera angle at the time of initiation of the scene was so close to your character that most of your character was being occluded at the time.
Demonwise Posted May 25, 2013 Author Posted May 25, 2013 Yeah, no, I was hoping to resolve the actor fade in 1st person. I know it is a natural feature of the game and isn't really causing any issues but I was just wondering if there was a way to turn it off or tweak a setting so that it doesn't occur.
Guest SemiPr0 Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 I'm not aware of any way to stop occlusion when in first person. Perhaps someone else knows of a way, but far as first person goes...you're just a set of hands and forearms.
