Is there any tutorials/guides on how to make a bodypart override?

Sorry if this is not the right place or if it has been asked before, but is there any tutorials or guides on how to create bodypart override's in general?

 

I adjusted the better body bottom's for personal use and I tried importing it to sims 4 studios but it won't show up in the 3d view, seemingly not getting imported at all, so I must be doing something wrong.

which format did you save your modification? Should be as .png if it’s a texture or .blend if it’s a mesh. But for the mesh if you use blender 2.8+ it will not works, you need 2.79 or lesser versions.

 

just append your .blend with lesser blender versions and save, then try again.

Ah that must be it then, I'm using the most recent blender version. I will try the other version, Thank you
