I know there are some floating around on the net...but are they available?

I found some various textures on TesNexus, but most are with Tattoos, or are ambiguous about the resolution.

Any directions would be appreciated :D.

Ya, just make your own it's more rewarding and unique. Ozmos base textures is a great place to start. You can pick what tattoos you want, nipples, pubes, etc and you can set the color to whatever you like.

Giving the Ozmo base textures a try, and it's going swimmingly so far.

Just a question...does anyone have tips for colour matching the face?

What method do you guys use to change the skin tones for the textures?

No matter what method I use I always use 400x zoom. From there I only use three methods depending on what I am working on.

1. The good old paint brush.

2. The clone tool with conjunction of the blur and smudge tool. Using this method is extremely tedious but worth it when the eyedropper will not choose a color matching the texture.

3. Create 2 or transparent layers; change the layers mode to color or overlay. Then I color part or all of the layers. A lifesaver when I need to change lip color. :D

When the eyedropper fails; just switch to the clone tool. Make sure you also use the blur and smudge tool.

I actually meant matching the face to the body, or vice versa. Really annoying trying to make those seams as invisible as possible.

There's no real way to make it a perfect match, and it's often easier just to fix the seams in your post work of the screenshot.

But, in order to get it close as possible...

Assuming we're talking about Photoshop, I make strong use of adjustment layers in order to get skin textures to match better. By this I mean making good use of Hue/Saturation, and Levels adjustment layers. I recommend doing this as adjustment layers because you can change them very easily, have it link to one layer (and only effect that layer), or erase certain parts (like if you really pulled down the saturation for a body texture to make a "vampire" skin tone, but still wanted the nipples to stay the same - you would just erase the nipples in the adjustment layer and the rest of the skin will be pale, but the nipples will still be...pinker I guess.) Once you're done with these adjustment layers, you can then copy them over to your face, ears, etc. to match them closer together. You will still need to tweak them though.

An Levels adjustment layer lets you darken or lighten the skin tone, and like I said before, remove it in areas where it may be adding too much.

This won't help in removing seams altogether since ears, hands, body, and facial textures can vary between their tones at default and adjusting it to perfection won't happen. But, you can get it close enough so the seam is barely noticeable and will be much easier to clean up in post work.

Adjustment layers can be added just like a new layer on the Layer palette. Very easy to find and use, but often neglected.

Here's an example of this process on one of my characters:

Now you can still see the seams on her hands, but the colors match up really well and it's very easy to fix in post work (this was a test shot, so I didn't do that). This skin is the HGEC 4096x4096 that I heavily tanned with adjustment layers and some color overlay layers.

Another issue is that hands, ears, body, face, etc. don't always get hit evenly with a light source, which also makes the seams more apparent.

What I want to know is... Is there a way to check your results without having to reload the game each time and check your character in game. I generally have both textures out so I can compare them pretty easily, but they arent connected and its all about those little minute details, but more importantly its about the difference of 2 hours to 20 minutes.
