Uploading Neverwinter Nights 2 Mods

Greetings everyone, this is my first post here.

Due to recent changes to the Nexus website, I am looking for a new platform where to share my mods, so here I am.

I wanted to ask a couple of questions and I'm not sure where they would best fit, so I put them in general gaming.

 

1) When I try to upload a file, it only allows me to upload files of Rimworld, Starbound and Crusader King 3, every other option is greyed out. Is this a bug or is there something I'm missing?

2) Should I post a link to a download to another website, does it have to be a direct link? For example I have ufile.io that does not allow direct links for free users. Can it also be the page of that mod posted on another website/modding platform?

You probably will have more luck in general discussion, also I think that you can put your download in misc. Adult mods or Misc. Mods if it is a "normal" mod, good luck.

Thanks, but I cannot put downloads in Misc, the category is greyed out and I cannot select it.

I can only select Rimworld, Starbound and Crusader King 3, for some strange reason.

I will try asking in general discussion then, if possible.

Edit: Nevermind, now it's no longer greyed out after I changed my avatar picture? How strange.

Category "Misc" is for generic mods for games that do not have a specific category.

"Misc Adult Mods" is similar but it is for adult mods.

You can also upload directly to "Other", in this case it is considered "Misc".

Yes, I know, but before I changed the avatar, that category was greyed out and I could not select it, how bizarre. Now I can select it.
