Dont even ask me where i found this because its not mine, some german guy miles down in a forum whipped this up and it works. I use MO and i installed it like you would an archive and it worked, i assume it works the same for vortex. 

 

For a manual install just drag the contents into your /data/scripts folder and slaverun will no longer be retarded.

Judging by the filename, it's probably similar/identical to the one that someone posted for slaverun reloaded.

The one for reloaded is a replacement file for the version check script [SLV_VersionCheck.pex] which... checks the versions of files that slaverun needs to function. If the wrong version number is found then it causes compatibility issues (presumably slaverun shuts down some functions to try and avoid causing crashes).

 

zaz and DD have had updates more recently than slaverun, so their version numbers don't match with the version number that slaverun is looking for in its compatibility check (causing the check to fail because the number is "outdated" because it's too NEW).

This file presumably does the same thing: causes slaverun to look for zaz 8 and DD 4.1 instead of the older versions, by replacing a couple of numbers in [SLV_VersionCheck.pex].
