[solved] Blender 2.92 - T pose disspears when exporting

Another blender question...

Usually putting models into a T-pose goes fairly well. This one I can't seem to export out with my T pose.

I have position the model like I want in "pose mode". I even added the pose to a new libary pose and gave it a specific name "Tpose".

The second I export it the model goes right back into default pose (not the rest pose cause that looks different). The obj reflects the default pose and not my TPose.

I've been sitting, googling and seaching so much that my ass hurts but not found any solutions that solve this.

I can't even seem to "store" the pose related work I've done even if I registrated it as a new pose. If I quit Blender I have to do everything from the start.

EDITED: I removed some "actions" and channels in the animation section and was able to copy the rest pose over to the "pose position" and I can now pose and export as I want ?

That is not what your after; you are creating an "action", in pose mode. You want to "apply pose as rest pose."

Trouble is then the mesh will be in the old position...\

So you could apply the mesh object first "visual transfrom."

Then do the former, then rig the mesh to the armature again with armature deform.

***Disclaimer - I have never done this before; there will definitely be a better way to do it, hopefully in one operation. But I'm sure it's the "rest pose" that you are after, at least.

Nice character

Might be the same thing I ended up doing or maybe not...........

I admit this: What I did and why I did it is uncertain to me at this point. But it seemed to fix the issue. I can now export it in the pose I choose.
