Languidfox Posted June 6, 2021 Posted June 6, 2021 I last played a year or two ago, have changed computer and would need to build a new modlist from scratch. Last time Deviously Cursed Loot was a big feature with Laura's Bondage Shop, Bondage Furniture World and Devious Lore adding a little extra. I couldn't get Chain Beasts to work, but it looks like that's updated so maybe that's worth another shot. The notes for the devious framework say they've done a lot with furniture, but obviously the framework won't add that on its own. Is bondage furniture world still the best bet or should I try something else? DCL added a ton to my last playthrough, easily my fave mod, but I also feel like I've seen a lot of it, are there any alternatives that you'd recommend? I also like these to be mods to use while I actually play the game. I've finished Skyrim a few times so I like to add things to shake it up. Last time I used Ordinator Perks and Apocalypse Spells to make things a little different with Legacy of the Dragonborn and The Forgotten City to give me some new content to explore. Any recommendations for quest mods (vanilla or otherwise). I'll be starting a clean save and using LE (Since I don't have SE, no comment on which is better). I could go either way on UNNP vs CBBE, probably based on whatever armour replacer I like the look of this time. If things aren't complicated I can usually get them working, but if I need to open up the TES editor I tend to just ditch the mod and play something else. I'm happy to spend a bit of time googlin' but would value recommendations from people who've been playing since it's not always obvious what's updated or what's good in practice.

Skimming Deviously Cursed Loot's changelog, it looks like that mod uses the new furniture but I'm not sure how many other mods do so. As far as suggestions go, one of the mods I've been checking out is SLUTS Resume. It works much better than the old version I played ages ago, although I've noticed two issues so far: It tries to do a check when applying the livery tats that fails in LE, so you have to edit the JSON to add them to the "default" domain. While Simple Slavery++ has been updated to detect that SLUTS Resume is installed, it's not yet been implemented on SLUTS Resume's side. You just end up standing at the auction block, since the code meant to teleport you and hand you over is all commented out. Another one I've been poking at is Sexlab Survival. I've not had the time to properly test it out, but I've appreciated the "need a map to see the map" feature while testing SLUTS Resume - it basically made me rely on map knowledge and check road signs to ensure I was going the right way, since you can't bring any of your gear with you on the runs. EDIT: V2 of SLUTS Resume fixed the SlaveTats issue and the second seems to have been an install issue on my part since it works fine after I updated to V2.
Languidfox Posted June 7, 2021 Author Posted June 7, 2021 Thanks for the recommendations The description for survival sounds interesting, but like it's very much a work in progress, how stable are you finding it? I tend to play characters for a while so I value stability. Having looked around more I'm was toying with the idea of leaving the DD framework out. There are a few mods that don't seem to require it and it seems like things'd be less samey than last time - but the changelog for DCL does look like a ton has been added so I'd be missing out on a lot.

However, the features that I have seen while testing other mods for my own modlist (tolls, license enforcers, map/compass, some of the integrations with Frostfall and YPS Fashion) seem to work as advertised.
