Body Disappears permanently during Sex Animations

Having this strange issue where my character disappears when a sex animation starts and does not return. Any ideas why?

This is usually a problem related to HDT

Use LOOT to optimize load order, try reinstalling XPMSE, relaunch FNIS by activating the Skeleton patch. Check if the problem occurs on specific animations

 

If you haven't, install the various fixes :

 

Crash fix ;

Brawl bug ;

D3DX9_42_Wrapper ;

HDTPhysicsextensions fix ;

Safety load ;

Havok fix ;

Definitely will try this out. I find it incredibly bizarre as they were working earlier this morning and I'm sure I did not touch HDT.

It should not be touched, unless you know what to touch. Typically, the problem resolves itself . 

You can try this too , activating ONLY MipMAP  Optimizer Textures (Ordenador)

When I say did not touch I mean that the mods that I have were installed quite some time ago and I have not reinstalled them up to today. I don't generally fiddle around in the mods themselves.

Voluntary manipulation was not intended. HDT is known to create bugs for no apparent reason . I read somewhere that mods like Floating Damage can create problems for both HDT and SMP, as it is linked to both NPC's and creatures. 

 

You can try by starting a new game , probably the problem disappears as it appeared, then try to pick up where you left off for the problem . I had this problem too for some time, then it solved itself without doing anything

Can be a mismatch skeleton, e.g. wrong feet, cbbe body feet unp, or some followers have a nif build with older type skeleton.

Then the weights may differ.

Thought it might be a new game as I started one and quickly tested it out without setting up all my mods. Worked. But when I did a full set up it went back to the same issue. Guess I have to start eliminating mods as the culprit.

I thought I isolated the issue of not installing patches for SLSO but it still does the same thing after installing the missing patches

Also I note that it only seems to apply to the PC, not to NPCS.

Then you might have something installed what changes the nif of the PC, like a vampire mod e.g.

or a not matching skin included in clothing.

The thing is I haven't changed much related to these things and it was working for me for the past several years. This morning, yesterday. I cannot pinpoint anything that would cause this issue. 

 

If I take my time and set up all my mods this issue occurs. However if I rush  through and say just install Sexlab, register animations in SLAL and activate a mod that initiates sex, in my case I've used Sexlab Survival as well as Naked Defeat(primarily) it works fine. I still see the PC.

A couple of thoughts. 

 

Try checking the drive that the mods are installed on for errors in Windows ?  Maybe there's a corrupt file.

 

When trying to troubleshoot if a specific mod is causing a problem, I've found the best way is to disable approximately half the load order and test.  If the issue still occurs, then we've just ruled out half the mods.  From there we can disable another group of 10-20 mods and test again.  Each time keep track of which mods are enabled and which mods we've just disabled.  Can do that by writing down or just take screen shots.  Once we run into the problem again, take the most recent group of mods that we disabled, and enable a couple at a time until it happens again. 

 

This also works the other way around.  With half the load order disabled if the issue does not occur, then enable groups of 10-20 mods until we run into the problem and narrow down from there.

I think I managed to find the culprit although I am somewhat puzzled. It seems that if I disable SLSO or move Osmel's Skyrim Utility mod below SLSO on the left pane(Not the right plugins) in MO it works fine. MOD though identifies this as a mod order issue. I am hoping this does not cause further issues down the line.

That seems to be in line with the message on the OsmelMC Mod Tweaks 2021-04-20 page:
